The Eitz Chaim Choir specializes in singing in Orthodox shuls and functions. The music of famous liturgical composers forms the basis of our repertoire. In addition, we adapt modern music to different prayers and songs from the siddur (prayer book), as well as introduce modern approaches to the liturgical music of traditional chazzanut. There is no need for one to have any knowledge or experience with Hebrew or Jewish liturgy, in order to enjoy and be inspired by the the Eitz Chaim Choir music and melodies in which feeling, belief and love are so beautifully delivered. 

Many of the choristers have individual singing and musical experience in excess of 25 years each. Though the respective independent private careers of our choristers are varied and divergent, it is their common talent and love for music that brings them together and ensures their commitment to the success of the choir. Together we have traveled abroad by special invitation and the successful performances have brought much praise, support and gratitude from Jews overseas. 

Any service or function including the ECC is one to remember. Unlike traditional choirs that just "perform", we interact with the congregation and guests, in song, music and dance, contributing to making the "simcha" so much more special and memorable.
